M Villa Residence is a low rise serviced apartment
building located in the northern city of
Chiang Mai. Situated on a road side site, the
elongated elevation is designed to make a statement
with concaved concrete formwork creating
an undulating and organic facade. The u-shaped
geometry creates a permeability throughout the
building, where the courtyard and feature pool
form the key central focus of the project. Visual
connectivity at the GF public level was a key
requisite as the building was designed to look inwards to a calm interior.
A triple height green wall forms the backdrop to the pool area
and offers privacy at the higher floors.
